JSA Support For JLAB
JSA Initiatives Fund Program
The owners of Jefferson Science Associates (JSA), have established the JSA Initiatives Fund (IF) Program to support projects, initiatives, and activities that further the scientific outreach, and promote the science, education and technology missions of Jefferson Lab in ways that complement its basic and applied research focus. Successful awards from the Initiatives Fund are made for those projects that benefit the Lab user community and that leverage commitments of others, including the Lab itself. http://www.jsallc.org/IF/IFIndex.html
The JSA/JLab Graduate Fellowship Program is funded by the JSA Initiatives Fund. JSA awards fellowships to qualified doctoral students at SURA member universities for research related to the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) in Newport News, Virginia.
The JSA-Jefferson Lab Sabbatical / Research Leave Support Program is funded by the JSA Initiatives Fund. JSA will award living expenses up to $1,500 per month for up to twelve months to qualified faculty members to relocate to the Hampton Roads area to conduct full-time research at the Jefferson Lab.
